崔保山,教授,博士生导师,教育部长江学者特聘教授,国家973项目首席科学家,国家杰出青年科学基金获得者,全国优秀科技工作者,首批教育部新世纪优秀人才,享受国务院政府特殊津贴。现任北京师范大学环境学院院长。

目前担任中国环境科学学会第八届理事会常务理事、中国环境科学学会地学分会主任、中国自然资源学会湿地资源保护专业委员会副主任、中国生态学学会咨询工作委员会委员、中国水利学会水资源专业委员会委员、国家湿地科学技术专家委员会委员等;担任SCI刊物《Wetlands》副主编、《湿地科学》副主编、任《Journal of Hydrodynamics》、《International Journal of EnvironmentalProtection》、《生态学报》、《自然资源学报》、《农业资源与环境学报》等编委。主持或完成国家“973”项目(课题)、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家重大水专项、水利部重点项目等30余项。近年来已出版专著4部,发表学术论文200余篇,其中SCI论文100余篇,EI论文40余篇,授权国家发明专利9项。曾获国家科技进步奖二等奖1项,省部级奖励4项。
